The decade in review

The decade in review

This is an interesting list by an English professor at Texas A&M named D.G. Myers. I'm sad to say that I've read only five of them, but several are on my own 60 best novels countdown. The ones I have read are: The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay; The Corrections; The Story of Lucy Gault; Heir to the Glimmering World; andGilead. There even are a couple of authors on it of whom I haven't heard -- Robert Cohen and Tim Winton. Evidently, 2007 was not a hot literary year for him.
